The October  RRLug meeting had 12  people attending.  We met at the usual time of  6:30pm in the Rasmussen College Boardroom. We had  a few new faces in the crowd tonight. As usual we had several different presentations on the agenda.

  • Linux / Programming Debugging – Sam Williams  discussed some overarching ways  to prepare to debug system or programming issues, of course with as much Linux spin as possible
  • Security 101 – We watched  a brief interview with Gabriel Weinberg detailing DuckDuckGo and how they focus on data and system security. It was  entertaining and useful for everyone. We will also continued  our discussion on security in general with Linux.
  • Current News – There have been several note-worthy Linux/FOSS news items in the last month. Thought we could have some fun discussing those.

We had a fun meeting as usual! Hope to see you all again next month!
