The November  RRLug meeting went really well. We had 12 people attending! We met at 6:30pm  at Rasmussen College (rm 403).  Tonight there were two presentations:

  • TEDxRockford – Sam Williams was invited to attend the first, hopefully annual TEDxRockford conference as a representative of RRLug. He came away with many cool ideas and shared these  experiences and thoughts  for future Rockford growth ideas. Many of the members hadn’t realized the event was even taking applications so they were happy to hear this presentation.
  • Using and Configuring SSH (pt 1) – Sam Williams is going to look at several things that make ssh particularly ideal for secure communication. Tonight we will look at configuring both the client and server side of an awesome and very useful set of commands.

We had some great and lively discussion. Everyone had a really great time.
