September RRLug Meeting Minutes: 09/12/13

 The September RRLug meeting had 14  people attending.  We met at the usual time of  6:30pm in the Rasmussen College Boardroom. We had  a few new faces in the crowd tonight. As usual we had several different presentations on the agenda:

• Discussing Future Presentation Topics – Sam Williams led a  discussion to determine the presentation topics that the membership would like to see in the upcoming year.
• Security 101 – Watched  an old video detailing how you might have found a computer intruder. The movie was based on a real incident from a few years back. The technology has changed, but the principles are still generally current.
• Current News – We will have a discussion on some of the more interesting Linux/FOSS news items from the past month.

We all had an interesting time…
