The May RRLug meeting was held starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 11th. Directions: When you arrive at Rasmussen College take the elevator to the third floor then turn right and walk straight into the meeting room (Boardroom). This months agenda is as follows:
- PyCharm – Peter Hedlund gave a thorough demo of PyCharm as the core of a general purpose Python development environment. He also showed many features beyond Python development and why PyCharm is good for many more programming languages.
- Vi/Vim – Tonight we started learning a bit of the history and motivation behind the design of Vi. Next month we will continue the discussion and see how far we can take things.
- Linux News – Bring a Linux news event from the last month and we can discuss it during tonight’s meeting.
We had a really great and fun meeting!
