- Smoking in Docker – Steve Lembark is going to show how to build a smoke-test engine using Docker images & volumes. CPAN has several smoke-test engines that pull and compile packages on a variety of O/S and Perl platforms. This talk describes the basics of smoke testing, one of CPAN’s engines, and building a hybrid container using an image and volume to provide a stable, maintainable smoke-test environment. The basic approach is applicable to any build-testing environment from nightly builds to project data validation.
- Linux News – We will discuss and Linux related news items that strike a responsive cord with the membership.
Hope to see you all there, particularly since we are going to have some really interesting presentations!
